Scags and Walkers
by David White

There are all kinds of mowers that are used in the lawn care business. The best mowers are the Scag and the Walker. Every lawn care business needs either a Scag or a Walker.

Scags and Walkers are the same in many ways. You can cut and stripe grass with them. Scags and walkers have arm rests. They both can go very fast. The mowers mow very good. They both come in different colors.

Scags and Walkers are different in many ways. Scags do not collect grass, but the Walker does. Scags can be used when mowing big fields. Walkers are better for smaller jobs, such as the front yard.

The boss needs to decide which mower is the best for their business. My pop has a Scag and I love to drive it. Someday I will be able to mow with it. If I had a lawn care business I would buy a Scag.

Wolves and Foxes

Wolves and Foxes

Wolves and foxes are interesting animals to learn about. Foxes and wolves are wild animals. There are many books about them. Werewolves were made up in Greek mythology so they are not true.

Wolves and foxes are different in many ways. Wolves are bigger than foxes and more aggressive. Wolves eat deer and meat. Foxes are smaller than wolves. Foxes eat small rodents because they can't catch big animals like the wolf. Foxes rob people so they can eat. They steal chickens from farmers. Wolves are hunters and get their food that way. Wolves live in packs, but foxes could not be in a wolf pack because they could not survive.

Wolves and foxes are the same in many ways. Wolves and foxes are in the dog family. Foxes and wolves both eat rats and rabbits. They both live in the woods. They both have babies and they take care of them until they can survive on their own.

Foxes and wolves are fun to learn about. I saw a family of foxes in the city, but I have never seen a wolf. Maybe one day I will get to see a wolf too.

The Barnyard Mistake

The Barnyard Mistake

By: Isaac, Jonathan & David White

September 24, 2009

Once upon a time, a chicken was up in the barn and was telling the other animals to not make fun of people. All the barnyard animals were there that day. Mr. Chicken was really getting onto everyone about how mean it is to make fun of others. God made everyone for His own glory.

The next morning the chicken wakes up early and sees the donkey getting up too. The donkey is having a bad hair day. The chicken says “ha, ha ha, your hair is UGLY! It looks like a bomb just exploded on your head!” The donkey left the barn and started crying and feeling sad.

The next morning, the chicken woke up and all his hair was gone! The donkey didn’t make fun of the chicken, because he knew how it felt. The chicken was really sorry for making fun of the donkey.

So remember, walk your talk!
